As Administrative Associate, Sharon Hamilton has kept us organized and connected with the University in Athens for 20 years. Winston Drury has kept our family well supplied with food for over 12 years as Dining Hall Manager. While he plans our menus and orders our food, he always tries to make time to visit with agents and teachers during meal times. Joyce Howard, Lucy Holmes, Roosevelt Butler, Sprawley Washington, and Al Tate and ensure our meals are tasty, hot and served on time. Michael Thrower and James Nobles keep our home and Tidelands Nature Center up and running no matter what physical demands we place on the facilities. Kim Britton and Carol Ducksworth constantly ensure the Jekyll 4-H Center is kept clean and tidy for our visitors.
Each year over 13,000 students participate in our environmental education program. As
4-H center director, it is Donna Stewart 's responsibility to coordinate the center and ensure the program runs smoothly. Richard Chewning coordinates the EE program and manages the daily activities. Dawn Zenkert ensures that Tidelands Nature Center runs smoothly with Bryan England.

Amber Saville-Andree is from Mars, PA (outside of Pittsburg). She attended Kutztown University where she majored in Marine Science. She enjoys outdoorsy stuff, playing music, and singing. Amber loves environmental education and came to Jekyll to learn about and share a new environment with students. Amber’s favorite quote is “Preserve your memories. Andy Thompson is from Elberton/Athens, GA. He attended the University of Georgia where he majored in Government and Education. He enjoys bicycling, hiking, fishing, writing, and reading about Japan/Asia. Andy's love for the outdoors brought him to Jekyll. Brittney Austin is from Boston, MA. She attended the University of Rhode Island where she majored in Environmental Science. Her hobbies include anything outdoors...and knitting! Brittney came to Jekyll to have the opportunity to teach kids in the great outdoors and to get out of New England. Christa Thomas is from Brunswick, GA. She attended Armstrong Atlantic State University where she studied Middle Grades Education. She enjoys hiking, camping, playing the piano, and enjoying the beauty of creation. What brought her to Jekyll was her love of the great outdoors and sharing her knowledge with others. Jessica Loveless is from Rose, NY. She attended Finger Lakes and majored in Natural Resource Conservation and Environmental Studies. Her passions include art, photography, and horseback riding. Her passion for environmental education and a love for the earth brought her to Jekyll.
